1. “Best song you’ve ever heard during a caesarean.” “The Lion King ‘Circle of Life’ during a gender reveal over the drapes. Everyone loves a simba moment”.

2. “I ‘listened’ to a patients chest for a full 10 seconds before realising my steth wasn't in my ears!”

3. “Recently chaperoned an F1 during a DRE and had to stop her just in time before she attempted the procedure with both fingers on an 87-year-old patient.”

4. “Our consultant’s trousers fell down during a case and he just continued operating with them by his ankles till the end of the case”

5. “Convinced there isn’t a greater feeling than when the anaesthetics reg couldn’t get the cannula that they spend 5 minutes berating me about on the phone”

6. “Hi, ED Doc here. I can’t believe I actually have to say this, but please do NOT insert frozen potatoes into your anus in an attempt to cure haemorrhoids.”

7. “How depressing is it to be asked to remove your wrist watch whilst an alpaca floats around the ward”
